Season 25 has come to an end and we are looking ahead for our 2nd season in the cycling circus. The season we have been through has been an utter success, but we need to keep on moving.
We have made some important changes to the team. Our former captain, Kasjan Jarosz has left us, after an immaculate showing for the team. Wrapping up 10 results in two months, including 6 wins. He is replaced by an American veteran, Jeffrey Clement. While Jarosz was a versatile sprinter with certain climbing and hilly abilities, Clement is more of a pure sprinter.
Clement joins alongside Boje Damm, both new arrivals from Division 1 team, CaliforniaMist. They have loyally been serving as leadouts for De Nooy and Roels. For YellowFellows, Clements will have the opportunity to grab some wins and glory before he retires, as he will lead the lines for us this season. Damm will continue as a supporting rider. It is uncertain how long Clement will be at the helm of his team, but we are looking forward to seeing him in action.
As far as our ambitions go , we wish to take further steps. Not necessarily in terms of climbing divisions, but making a stronger team. We would like to at least establish ourselves as a team capable of producing stable results in at least division 5. It is also a goal to enter a tour this season. Mostly to gain experience. Any results will just be a massive bonus. FoW is the most suitable tour for the team, but we will have to see how the season develops.
